June 8th, 2020- The Department of Justice has awarded $153,861 to three local law enforcement agencies as part of the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program. The CESF Program allows units of local government to support a broad range of activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus.

Funded projects or initiatives may include, but are not limited to, overtime, equipment, hiring, supplies (such as gloves, masks, sanitizer), training, travel expenses (particularly related to the distribution of resources to the most impacted areas), and addressing the medical needs of inmates in state, local, and tribal prisons, jails, and detention centers.
