The History of the Heartland will hold their first annual Architectural Scavenger Hunt from August 9th-15th. It will run concurrently with Historic Preservation Week in Decatur.
Those interested in entering can find an entry form on the History of the Heartland Facebook page or at the Wabash Depot Antique Center, located at 780 East Cerro Gordo Street. Families will be encouraged to observe social distancing while walking or driving around downtown to discover answers. There will be eight downtown Decatur architectural features for contestants to identify. Local small businesses have made donations for prizes and certificates, with the grand prize package valued at $150.
