August 24, 2020 – American Idol will host its first-ever virtual nationwide search for the next superstar with “Idol Across America” remote auditions that will take place in all 50 states and Washington D.C. making auditions easier than ever before. Hopefuls will audition in front of producers when the tour stops in their home state. Registration and auditions for Illinois will begin on Friday, August 28th.
