October 6, 2020 – Macon County Clerk Josh Tanner has announced that there will be three vote-by-mail ballot collection events in October.  This will be an opportunity for voters using a vote-by-mail ballot to drop their ballot into a secured box that will be monitored by election judges.  Any voter in Macon County can drop their ballot off at any of the three scheduled collection events.  Voters will not be allowed to early vote or request a vote-by-mail ballot at the collections.  Voters should verify that they have completed the vote-by-mail ballot authorization form on the back of the outermost envelope.

The three collection events are as follows:

October 17, 2020 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mt. Zion Public Library 115 W. Main Street, Mt. Zion

October 24, 2020 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Decatur Public Library 130 North Franklin Street, Decatur
