November 10, 2020 – Three more regions in Illinois will be under stricter COVID-19 mitigations beginning today.  Governor Pritzker announced that Region 7 (Kankakee and Will Counties), Region 8 (McHenry and DuPage Counties), and Region 5 (Southern Illinois) have been elevated to Tier Two mitigations.  Region 1 in Northwest Illinois has been under Tier 2 mitigations since late October.

Outdoor dining will now be limited to six people per table instead of 10.  The maximum for gatherings is now reduced from 25 people to 10 in those areas.

Pritzker says that new daily cases in the state are up 380% since the first of October and that deaths and hospitalizations are up 150%
