Kids Discover Nature with Conservation District’s Mini Camp Kits

December 8, 2020 – Although in-person nature and history programs are canceled at the Macon County Conservation District until January due to COVID-19, kids can still discover nature with the Conservation District’s Mini Camp Nature Kits.

These nature-themed kits are designed for children ages 1-5 with an adult buddy. The pre-packaged kits contain activities, games, and crafts exploring each camp theme.

Register for your kit online and staff will call you when your kit is ready for pick-up, and arrange a time for you to collect your kit from Rock Springs Nature Center via curbside pick-up.

Each kit is $6 and includes materials for one child.

December’s nature kit theme is Jingle Bells. This kit is available for pick-up now through December 23. Register online for this kit by December 21.

January’s kit theme is Snow What Fun. This kit is available for pick-up January 4-29. Register online for this kit by January 27.

February’s nature kit is Puffy Clouds. It’s available for pick-up February 1-26. Register online for this kit by February 24.
