December 11, 2020 – Students in MacArthur’s FFA program spent the afternoon shopping for Secret Santa Christmas presents. MacArthur has a relatively new FFA program, with this being the third year. The program has grown quickly and now has more than 200 students.

Six of the officer team members went with agriculture teacher Kacey Reinholtz to buy presents for 20 elementary students at American Dreamer STEM Academy participating in at-home learning. Junior Hadrian Pajer has been a part of the FFA program since its inception at MacArthur and was shopping as a Secret Santa for the third time.

“We’re able to buy presents for 20 children. We budget around $25 for each kid but we usually go over that a little bit,” said Pajer. “Christmas is one of everybody’s favorite holidays and people enjoy making sure that everyone has a great holiday.”

The gifts will be wrapped by students over the weekend given to children enrolled at American Dreamer STEM Academy early next week.
