December 28, 2020 – Crossing Healthcare received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and began to administration to Healthcare Staff.
Crossing CEO Tanya Andricks said that a little over 300 vaccines were received and they plan to begin administering vaccines to its dental providers after administering initial vaccines to front-line healthcare staff.
The first member of the staff to receive the vaccine was Chief Medical Offical, Dr. Dana Ray. “There is so much misinformation right now and it’s preventing people from wanting to get the vaccine. ” Ray says she encourages the community to do their research with reputable sources and to talk to their primary care physician with questions.
Once the vaccine is readily available to the public, Crossing plans to utilize its drive though facility on N Water St. to administer the vaccine on a larger scale.
