December 28, 2020 – This Wednesday and Thursday, first responders and others in the front line of the COVID-19 battle can receive a free meal from Doherty’s in downtown Decatur.
On December 30th and December 31st, on-duty first responders such as police, fire, sheriff’s deputies, and EMTs as well as healthcare workers and funeral home workers can receive lunch or dinner free courtesy of First Mid and the host of Soy City Buzz on First Mid Mondays, Kevin Breheny.
Hours are 11 am to 8 pm and orders can be called in for curbside pickup. Though the meals are free, tipping is always appreciated.
