December 28, 2020 – The Children’s Museum of Illinois is joining more than 10 other museums in Illinois and Indiana for the annual Noon Year’s Eve countdown and celebration. The free online event will be hosted by CM of IL’s Jay Albright and will feature The Awesome Squad, a local children’s music group, will perform a mix of pop hits and original songs to get families dancing along before the official countdown to noon!
Happy Noon Year activity kits are available from Children’s Museum of Illinois to help children get the most out of the experience. Each kit will feature: Party Crown with decorations, balloons, bubbles, glow bracelets, a noisemaker, and New Year Resolution Activity. Noon Year Kits are available for pickup at CM of IL on December 29 and 30th and will be $5/person.
The Noon Year’s Eve Livestream will begin at 11:30 am on Thursday, December 31. The link for viewing the event will be available on their website and on their social media. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
