January 4, 2021 – As of tomorrow, all DPS schools will shift virtual learning back to their standard bell schedule, in order for teachers and families to get adjusted to the normal schedule for when students do return to in-person learning. Different schools will begin at different times and each school should have communicated that information to their families for when virtual classes will begin and end starting tomorrow.
As of now, about 30% of students have chosen in-person learning starting January 19, which is still the tentative date to welcome students back in person. A form is still available in Skyward Family Access for families to select if they want students to return in person starting February 8. The district won’t know how many more students have made that selection until the form closes at the end of the day on Friday, January 8.
