January 14, 2021 – Busey Bank is holding a campaign to benefit the Salvation Army Men’s Shelter. Busey is looking to drive awareness, volunteerism, and funds within the community and their January Sock Drive will benefit local shelters in each of the communities they serve. Busey Bank of Decatur’s donations will go to the Salvation Army of Decatur.
Busey decided that hosting a sock drive would support Poverty Awareness Month, held in January. Socks are the number one requested item at shelters and their goal is to donate as many as possible.
The drive is being held at all branch locations, excluding their locations in Yorkville and Schaumburg. Donations will be accepted through January 29th.
