
January 14, 2021 – Richland Community College has new orientation dates for its industrial job skills training program. The program is designed for individuals looking to invest in themselves with this training that is designed to get you local work in today’s modern industrial environment.
The industrial skills training program will help individuals develop a strong understanding of modern industrial job skills including:
- Basic Manufacturing
- Job Readiness and Essential Skills
- Math
- CNC Machining
- Welding
- Safety and OSHA Training
Certifications include Certified Production Technician (CPT) and Manufacturing Processes & Production, and Safety from Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC).
Orientation will be held on January 19th at 2 pm and 5 pm and on January 20th at 10 am and 3 pm. Those interested will need to attend one of the orientations. The event is first come first served and will have a cap of 15 people due to COVID-19 restrictions.
