For this third episode, Andricks is joined by Dr. Dana Ray, Chief Medical Officer, and Charmaine Robertson, Behavioral Health Supervisor at Crossing Healthcare. In this interview, Andricks, Ray, and Robertson discuss substance use disorder. How do you recognize a problem and what are the options for treatment?

About the guests:

Dr. Dana Ray is the Chief Medical Officer at Crossing Healthcare and Medical Director of Addiction Services at Crossing Recovery Center. She also completed the Community Health Center Executive Fellowship program from the University of Kansas Medical Center and has been recognized by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NAHC) with the Innovative Research in Primary Care Award. Dr. Ray is also a Senior Fellow for Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Fellowship ECHO Program at Rush University Medical Center. She is a former Decatur City Council member and is active on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and Community Foundation of Macon County.

Charmaine Robertson-Stoner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Chief Behavioral Health Officer for Crossing Healthcare. With 11 years in the field of Social Work, Charmaine has significant experience assessing and educating on the complex bio-psycho-social factors related to patients with emotional and physical trauma histories, who require mental health support, substance use treatment, and a continuum of care.
