January 29, 2021 – Though much of the work of St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary has been sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic, a new slate of officers was recently selected.

Those that accepted officer roles are:

  • President – Ellen Miller
  • 1st Vice President in charge of Ways and Means – Susan Dudra
  • 2nd Vice President in charge of Programming – Anita Culp
  • Co-3rd-Vice Presidents in charge of Membership – Ann Barnett and Lou Ann Warnick
  • Treasurer – Nancy Williams
  • Co-Recording Secretaries – Maryrose Hagenbach and Marilee Gordon
  • Corresponding Secretary – Mary Michael Dreier
  • Publicity – Carol Holthaus

The Auxiliary looks forward to the day when they can actively function in supporting St. Mary’s Hospital again, especially the hands-on volunteers who normally assist in the hospital each day.

“Although we can’t be at the hospital in patient rooms, directing visitors, or transporting patients, we will be uplifting the morale of our faithful colleagues with a treat day coming up in February,” said newly elected publicity chair Carol Holthaus. “It won’t be the Chocolate Extravaganza of the past, but just a heartfelt way of saying ‘Great Job!’ to our dedicated staff.”
