LIL WAYNE IS WORKING ON A JOINT ALBUM WITH JUELZ SANTANA: Looks like Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana‘s I Can’t Feel My Face, which never officially materialized for the public, is in the works. During an interview with Report Card Radio’s Mikey T The Movie Star, Dipset‘s own Un Kasa revealed that the former duo are reworking the effort. Un Kasa said, “They got a whole new album now. I ain’t hear none of it. I might have heard some snippets before ‘Elz got incarcerated, but they got a whole new album that they supposed to put out together.” He continued, “Him and ‘Elz might have did a few songs together in the same studio but pretty much that whole project was coming through emails. ‘Elz would do a verse and a hook, send it to Wayne. No longer than 25 minutes to a half an hour, Wayne would have that sh*t sent back in an email.” Kasa also said it’s plausible that the album never dropped due to business-related reasons.

MEEK MILL AND MICHAEL RUBIN’S REFORM ALLIANCE NAMES NEW CEO: Meek Mill and Michael Rubin‘s Reform Alliance has named Robert Rooks as the organization’s new CEO and current CEO Van Jones has joined the executive board. According to Complex, Rooks said in a statement, “I’m honored to lead REFORM into the next phase of growth. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the organization’s founding partners and know their commitment to criminal justice reform is truly unparalleled. I look forward to building on the foundation that Van established and helping drive meaningful legislative change that will positively impact the millions who are unjustly trapped in our country’s broken probation and parole system.” Rooks will take on the role on March 1.

REPORT: YOUNGBOY NEVER BROKE AGAIN INVESTIGATED BY THE FEDS: According to a report from The Advocate on Tuesday (Feb. 9th), YoungBoy Never Broke Again is being investigated by federal investigators stemming from the arrests made at his video shoot last September. At the time, 16 people were arrested, including the Louisiana rapper, after a call was made that guns were being brandished at the abandoned lot where he was recording his music video with several others. YoungBoy’s attorney, however, is confident in the rapper’s innocence. The rapper was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses.
