DPS Meal Delivery Delayed Due To Weather

February 16, 2021- DPS Meal Delivery will take place only on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week due to weather. Also, today is the last day to make changes or select your preference in Skyward for Return to Learn effective March 22. Your previous selections will carry over. Call your students’ school to confirm your choice or if you need assistance.

Decatur Public Schools is delivering meals to students’ homes during the first quarter of the 2020-21 school year, while students are participating in virtual learning.  But to stop receiving meals, families must opt-out of the program.  

Due to USDA guidance on the National School Lunch Program, Grab and Go meal pick-up that was offered last Spring will not be offered during Fall 2020 virtual learning. Instead, five days’ worth of meals will be delivered to students’ home addresses once per week.
