February 18, 2021 – Winter weather is taking a toll on the area’s blood supply, with the Central Illinois Community Blood Center saying they have lost more than 500 donations due to the inclement weather.
Canceled blood drives and appointments have caused notable losses and the CICBC is asking for additional donations in order to help make up for lost donations while making sure the local blood supply remains as full as possible.
