Conservation District Hosting Winter Star Party at Griswold Conservation Area

February 20, 2021 – The Macon County Conservation District’s staff is hosting a Winter Star Party at Griswold Conservation Area, in Blue Mound, IL, on Saturday, February 27 at 7 pm. Attendees will see a view of the full moon, listen to space legends, and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.

This program is free and for all ages, but participants must register online by noon on Friday, February 26 at The Macon County Conservation District’s website.

Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Face masks will be required.

Griswold Conservation Area is located in Blue Mound, IL, just 20 minutes south of Decatur. To get to Griswold Conservation Area from Decatur, go south on Route 48 for 12 miles, turn right onto Blue Mound Rd. and right onto Meridian Rd. Watch for signs.
