February 24, 2021 – Decatur Public Schools currently have a “5 Essentials Survey” open to families within the district.
The 5 Essentials Survey identifies five indicators that lead to improved outcomes for all students, including improved attendance and larger test score gains.
The five indicators of the survey are:
- Effective leaders
- Collaborative teachers
- Involved families
- Supportive environments
- Ambitious instruction
The survey will be open through April 2, 2021. A link to the survey is available here.
