LISTEN: MacArthur FFA reporter Hannah Sullivan discusses National FFA Week

February 26, 2021 – To wrap up National FFA Week students and faculty from MacArthur’s FFA chapter held Game Day – a day where members spent time playing virtual games to get to know each other.
There were events every day this week, which included:
Monday – Positivity: Students wrote positive notes to healthcare workers, seniors, veterans, etc to express their appreciation.
Tuesday – Ag career day: Three various people in ag careers presented to members about their job.
Wednesday – Dog toys: Members used old and donated t-shirts to craft dog toys for local animal shelters.
Thursday – Officer day: A national or state FFA officer did a workshop with members.
Friday – Game day: Members played an array of virtual games while getting to know each other.
In addition to these virtual activities, they also encouraged students to do one act of kindness every day this week and setting up “kindness grams” to send to other members.

Other upcoming events include:
-Agriculture Art Show: This April, members will display their talents in the form of an ag-related art piece.
