March 1, 2021 – Front-line workers and military veterans are invited to enjoy free coffee and donuts at a thank-you event in their honor from 8-10 am on Saturday, March 6, at 121 Coffee Run in Warrensburg. Macon County police officers, firefighters, health care first responders, and other front-line workers, along with military veterans, are welcome to attend.
This outreach event is hosted by Young Leaders In Action in conjunction with 121 Coffee Run.
“YLIA and Macon County youth care about our area’s essential workers who diligently serve our community,” says David Revelle, YLIA event chair. “We hope this opportunity brightens their day and makes it a little bit better.” Revelle noted that YLIA leaders will also distribute thank-you cards to those in attendance.
This is the second stop on YLIA’s springtime outreach tour across the county.
Future 2021 events include:
● April 3 — Sweet Treat Day with 9 Marion County Horizon Center Homes throughout Macon County.
● May 8 — “Dipper Drive” in conjunction with DOVE Inc.
