March 2, 2021 – Explore the changes taking place in nature spring approaches during a Season’s Changes Hike. This naturalist-led hike will be held Sunday, March 14 at 2pm at Sand Creek Conservation Area. Visitors will look for signs of change and learn what plants and animals are doing to prepare for the new season.
Wear sturdy shoes. Face masks required. This program is free and open to all ages. Those interested must pre-register online no later than noon on Friday, March 12 at the Macon County Conservation website.
Sand Creek Conservation Area is located 4 miles south of downtown Decatur, at 4314 South Franklin Street Road. To get to Sand Creek from Decatur, go south on US 51 and turn left onto South Franklin Street Road.
