April 5, 2021 – The Macon County Health Department (MCHD) is holding a Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, April 8th at Richland Community College at the National Sequestration Education Center (3357 N. President Howard Brown Blvd.) near the wind turbines.
This clinic is open for those who live or work in Macon County; are 18 years old or older; and who wish to receive a single-dose vaccine. Those who wish to attend this clinic should not have previously received a COVID-19 vaccination dose of any kind. Eligible persons can call (217) 718-6205 from 9 am to 7 pm or visit this website to schedule an appointment.
Before arriving to the clinic, please take your temperature and screen yourself for COVID-19 symptoms. If you have a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, are experiencing any symptoms or signs of illness, are awaiting a COVID-19 test result, or have been identified as a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case, do not attend the clinic. Please bring a photo ID to verify age eligibility and your current insurance card or red, white and blue Medicare card.
