
April 14, 2021 – The Decatur Park Board of Commissioners will welcome the community to share ideas and suggestions on Wednesday, April 21 from 6 pm – 7 pm at Hickory Point Banquet Facility or online via Zoom to help prioritize improvements for the Decatur Park District Parks & Recreation Master Plan Update.
“This is a process we engage in about every ten years as a best practice. Public input is critical to address where the community’s priorities lie and how we can plan to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the parks and recreation industry,” stated Bill Clevenger, Executive Director of the Decatur Park District.
The public meeting will be held in person, compliant with current CDC, IDPH, and Macon County Health Department recommendations. It will also be streamed online via Zoom.com by using Meeting ID: 828 7296 3585 with Passcode: PARKS.
