
April 16, 2021 – Today the Decatur Airport, a Decatur Park District Property, announced that it will host a 75th Anniversary Air Show. The event will be held on August 14th and 15th at the Decatur Airport in celebration of the airport’s 75th year of operation.
“The Decatur Air Show only happens once every twenty-five years,” said Tim Wright, Director of the Decatur Airport. “We are thrilled to bring an impressive lineup of air show performers to Decatur as a free event for the community and aeronautics enthusiasts to enjoy.”
The event will be free to the public and will be held on the grounds of the airport. Gates will open at 10 am, and the show will take place from noon to 3 pm each day. Gates will be closed at 5 pm. Paid parking will be offered on-site.

USAF A-10 Demonstration Team

Phillips 66 Team – Three Ship Formation Acrobatics

Erik Edgren – T-Clips Comedy & Aerobatics
