May 7, 2021 -Want to know how to train for a new career WHILE STILL receiving your unemployment benefits?
IDES, Decatur Illinois WorkNet Center, Richland Community College, United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois, and Economic Development Corporation of Decatur-Macon County held an informational workshop via Zoom to provide guidance and direction on how to continue receiving current unemployment benefits while enrolling in local training programs or going back to school to learn a new trade or career.
Other topics discussed include items like how to find good-paying, local jobs, how to transfer existing skills to other jobs and careers, and how to locate community assistance during difficult times.
