Cars & Coffee for Operation Warm Fuzzy

By Michelle Mitchell May 13, 2021 | 4:36 PM

May 13, 2021 – This Saturday, May 15 will be a Cars & Coffee event to benefit Operation Warm Fuzzy. The live event will be held from 7-10 am at Industrial and Custom Powder Coat (661 East Wood Street) and Coffee Connection will be taking donations all day at their store (2505 North Main Street).

The concept is for people to bring their “show” vehicles and enjoy discussing them with others. In past events, there have had fire engines, hearses, police vehicles including swat vehicles, motorcycles, trucks, cars, and children’s motorized cars. The event is for enthusiasts and fans to hang out and chit-chat about their rides.  There are no trophies given as this is a “Cruise” even though the vehicles are parked and do not truly “Cruise”.

Operation Warm Fuzzy’s mission is to provide comfort items to hospitals, first responders, shelters, orphanages, clinics, and other service organizations to be used in trying times and holidays.

If you would like to participate or donate, you can:

1. Participate in or come see the car cruise-in, donations are accepted there.

2. Make a purchase at Coffee Connection that day

3. Donate online at the Operation Warm Fuzzy PayPal
