May 28, 2021 – National Donut Day is tied to The Salvation Army and is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year. It celebrates the history back to the front lines during World War I when “donut lassies” made donuts to help support and build morale for soldiers fighting…all the way up to the current programs and impact of The Salvation Army of today that are still on the front lines helping those in need.
This year, The Salvation Army will celebrate National Donut Day all week. Plan to get your donuts on June 3, 4, & 5 from Giggles on Merchant Street for your home, business, or to drop off to say hello or thank you to someone you love. Pre-order your box of donuts on the Giggles Website for Curbside Pick-up between 10 am and 2 pm each day.
Curbside Grab-n-Go is also available.
Choose from: Vanilla with Sprinkles, Lemon-Blueberry, and Salted Caramel. Take a box home and one to the office. You can also make a donation on the Giggles website this year.
