June 1, 2021 – The City of Decatur began selling gas to boaters on Lake Decatur today at the Lake Office next to the Nelson Park boat ramps. The fuel is regular unleaded gasoline without ethanol additives. Major credit card payment only. Cash and checks cannot be accepted. Since Lake Patrol staff will be dispensing the gas, customers may occasionally have to wait until after higher priority Lake Patrol tasks have been taken care of.
Boat gas will be available at these times through Labor Day weekend:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 4 pm to 7 pm
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays – 11 am to 6 pm
Boat gas is no longer available near the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater.
