June 3, 2021 – The Decatur Park District will host the 11th Annual MidState Cup Tournament in Decatur, June 4 – 6 at the Decatur Soccer Complex, presented by ADM and Midwest Fiber. Admission to the event is free.
The MidState Cup, an Illinois Youth Soccer Association approved tournament, will welcome 90 boys’ and girls’ (U8 – U18) club travel teams from Illinois and surrounding states coming to compete. Nearly 8,000 attendees are expected for the weekend.
The economic impact to the Decatur community from the tournament will be substantial given that teams will be visiting our local hotels, restaurants, gas stations, shopping centers along with attending many family-driven activity destinations.
