July 10, 2021 – The Macon County Technical Special Operations Team trained in grain bin entrapment rescue and recovery today at the Macon County Fire and Rescue Training Facility. The facility is located on the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center campus and is part of the Public Safety Training Foundation. The Technical Special Operations Team consists of fire and rescue from Long Creek, Mt Zion, South Macon, South Wheatland, and Cerro Gordo. This was their first chance to train at the facility to learn how to perform rescue and recovery during an incident of grain gin entrapment. Watch the video now.
