Upcoming Macon County Health Department vaccination clinics

July 30, 2021 – The Macon County Health Department (MCHD) is now offering scheduled COVID-19 vaccination appointments in addition to walk-in clinics. The general public may schedule an appointment for the 4th Monday or 4th Friday of each month by calling 217-423-6988 ext. 1100.

The MCHD is offering the following clinics on Wednesday, August 4, 2021:

• Location: Richland Community College (1 College Park Decatur, IL 62521)

• Time: 9:00 a.m. to noon

• Vaccine Type: Pfizer

• Ages: 12 years and older

• Please bring photo ID or insurance card if possible.

• Must return to Richland Community College August 25th to receive second dose.

• Location: Baby TALK Health Fair (355 E. Marietta Decatur, IL 62521)

• Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Vaccine Type: Pfizer

• Ages: 12 years and older

• Please bring photo ID or insurance card if possible.

• Must return to Baby TALK on August 25th to receive second dose.

• Location: Macon County Health Department (1221 E. Condit St. Decatur, IL 62521)

• Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Vaccine Type: Pfizer

• Ages: 12 years and older

• Please bring photo ID or insurance card if possible.

• Must return to the MCHD during regular business hours on August 25th to receive a second dose.

The MCHD is offering the following clinic on Thursday, August 5, 2021:

• Location: Richland Community College (1 College Park Decatur, IL 62521)

• Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Vaccine Type: Johnson and Johnson

• Ages: 18 years and older

• Please bring photo ID or insurance card if possible.

The MCHD is offering the following clinic on Saturday, August 7, 2021:

• Location: Torrence Park (1630 E. Grand Ave Decatur, IL 62521)

• Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• Vaccine Type: Johnson and Johnson

• Ages: 18 years and older

• Please bring photo ID or insurance card if possible.

A parent or legal guardian must be present with the minor. If someone other than a parent or legal guardian is planning to bring a child, the Permission/Proxy Form will need to be filled out and signed by the parent or legal guardian. The form must be brought to the clinic. This form can be found here.

A person should NOT attend the clinic if they have previously received a COVID-19 vaccination dose of any kind. If a person is pregnant or lactating, a doctor’s note must be provided.
