For whatever the reason the people at Workshopiopedia crunched the numbers and figured out state-by-state the most popular cheap beers. Yeah, we don’t get it either but hey let’s have some fun. It should be noted they called them ‘trashy beer’ but we’re being more polite and saying ‘cheap.’
Natural Light (aka Natty Light) was the most popular overall in the country with 10 states! Michelob Ultra had 7, Bud Light and Coors Light at 4.
As for Illinois, we were 1 of only 2 states that loved ourselves some Miller Lite. Washington DC was the other. And Indiana cracked open a Miller Genuine Draft.
