Bam Margera is tied to the ‘Jackass’ franchise just as much as Johnny Knoxville is. Which is probably why he feels wronged after his termination from the upcoming fourth film.
Bam filed this week a suite naming his former costar Johnny Knoxville, Paramount Pictures, MTV and others alleging he was wrongfully fired and seeking millions in compensation.
Paramount Pictures signed Bam on for ‘Jackass Forever,’ fourth film in the series, in 2020 under the condition he adhere to a ‘Wellness Agreement’ that included daily drug test. Bam was fired just after production began for a failed drug test that showed he had taken Adderall. Bam’s lawyer contends that it was a prescription and everyone was aware of it.
In a statement, Margera:
“I am … angry, hurt, and shattered that Johnny, [producer Jeff Tremaine], [producer Spike Jonze] and the studios and producers ripped off my creativity, content and stunts to make this movie, fired me without justification and refuse to pay for my work. I created this franchise before any of these guys ever got involved.”
