September 16, 2021 – ADM is encouraging colleagues to get active by donating money to the WSOY Community Food Drive from September 4 to October 4 for every exercise mile an associate records.
The “Moving for Good” internal challenge provides $1 to the food drive for every exercise mile a partner records during the campaign. ADM will accept any type of exercise (running, walking, biking, swimming, etc.), and other forms of exercise, such as strength training, can be recognized by tracking 1 mile for every 30 minutes of exercise.
ADM’s goal is for every colleague to log at least 1 mile, which would add around $4,000 in donations to the food drive.
Jennifer Ballinger, director of ADM Cares, said, “Health and wellness is a critical focus of ADM’s business, and “Moving for Good” helps us recognize colleagues’ healthy choices, while also helping feed those in need, right here in Macon County.”
ADM Cares works to advance initiatives to reach Zero Hunger by helping to increase access to critical food resources for those facing food scarcity.
