Performers show that Decatur’s Got Talent

October 17, 2021 – Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural Decatur’s Got Talent.

Third place winner, Saxaphonist Chris Gregg, took home $500. Second place winner, singer Jayla Lee, took home $1500, and first place winner, dancer Kierra Reidel, took home the grand prize of $5000.

The top 20 performers competed Saturday at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater in front of a panel of judges. The top 20 performers were chosen based on votes on NowDecatur.com. The largest person to receive votes, singer Joslynne Karaianis, won the fan-favorite prize of $500.

Decatur’s Got Talent was proudly presented by GT Church and their community partners; Hickory Point Bank, Brinkoetter Realtors, Richland Community College, Dales Southlake Pharmacy & Colee’s Corner Drugs, State Farm Agents Melanie and Al Schelling, Millikin University, Dynagraphics Fast Impressions, NowDecatur and Neuhoff Media.
