WALE EXPLAINS LEAVING ROC NATION IN 2014: Wale has opened up about his split from Roc Nation management in 2014. During a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Wale said, “What happened was, I was in the Hov cycle for a long time. There was a time that I was on tour with J. Cole. At the time, I was opening for him. They said it was a co-headlining tour, but whatever, I was opening for him, and it was an elaborate stage and this that and the third.” He continued, “And somebody in my circle told me, ‘You’re losing 5 grand every time you get on stage. Not only are you not breaking even, you’re losing money.’ Me, at that point in my life, I forget what city we was in but I was on the bus and I got an offer to do a tour with two other artists. And I wanted to go with Cole because that’s my brother and we just did the Hov tour. So, we was on the road, and I remembered I heard I was losing … I heard that from someone who was close to the joint. The shows is sold out and again, I’m a young n***a, I couldn’t make sense of it and this was when The Gifted was out and it went No. 2 or No. 1 on Billboard. I couldn’t understand it.”

  • He added, “I could literally be hosting clubs and making this a night. I just had a meltdown for real and I remember whatever city I was in, there were three days left and I just quit the tour. I just quit. If I was touring by myself, I could be bussin’ it crazy every night. So I kinda just had a meltdown and I didn’t know who to call, my lawyer or my accountant. The next day, called somebody there and they gave me this option or that option. But it’s been all love ever since but I wasn’t privy to this f**kin’ music industry sh*t. I just knew, this many people in the room, we can make something happen. Jay’s still my idol, still my favorite rapper. I still got all the love for all of them. I was just a little bit early in this sh*t though.”

MEEK MILL ACCUSES FLIGHT ATTENDANT OF BEING RACIST: Meek Mill vented on his Instagram over the weekend, accusing a flight attendant of being racist after being questioned about smelling like weed. In a video shared on his IG Story on Friday (October 29th), Meek said to the attendant, “So you just said we was smoking on a plane, we just came on here 30 seconds ago.” The flight staff member replied that he smelled marijuana. Meek then said, “But where are we going to smoke at if we just stepped on here 30 seconds ago? Like, where would a blunt be rolled up at if we just sat here?” The flight crew member apologized and said they are going to fix the issue, but at that point, Meek requested to get off of the plane. He demanded, “Let us get off this plane, because I don’t feel safe on this plane anyway. C’mon, let’s open the door. You acting real racist right now, like, real crazy. Was we smoking weed? F**k wrong with you?” The rapper captioned the video, “He asked was we smoking weed on his plane… We just got on 20 seconds ago … racist p***y slowed my whole day up??? I need to book a plane in NYC ASAP!!! His energy from when we walked up I knew he racist! Just look what company is this jet under.”

On the record, Miami speaks explicitly about all of the male rappers that she'd like to be intimate with. However, she said in an interview that there's no truth to the record. She told Billboard, “The song is showing love to all the rappers right now, it’s nothing personal. I named a bunch of the guys who are on top, that’s hot, that’s poppin’. Nothing is personal, nothing is literal, I’m just having fun.” Lil Baby, DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo, Diddy and more are mentioned in the song.

ICE CUBE WALKS AWAY FROM $9 MILLION MOVIE ROLE AFTER REFUSING TO GET COVID-19 VACCINE: Ice Cube turned down a movie role that would've paid him $9 million due to his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccination. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cube was supposed to appear alongside actor Jack Black in the upcoming comedy, Oh Hell No, but he won't be in the film after declining producers' request to get vaccinated.
