That’s what a recent survey of 2,000 people found. Yeah, while we’re shopping for others during the holiday season we treat ourselves to a ‘present’ or two — Nearly 3 in 4 admitted to this.
Why do this? People said ‘they would rather treat themselves than others because they know what they want or need’ (64%) and ‘buy better quality gifts’ (59%). Part of this is because they ‘are just plain picky’ (51%).
