November 16, 2021 – Deon Thomas returned for a Chalk Talk benefiting PawPrint Ministries this evening at South Side Country Club. The event featured fighting Illini ChalkTalk, a buffet, and a silent auction.
PawPrint Ministries has a team of 27 comfort dogs in Central Illinois that travel to hospitals, nursing homes, and care centers. The dogs are also deployed to disasters and tragedies. PawPrint Ministries began in 2014 with two dogs, Payton and Eli, after Executive Director Jennifer Dahn responded to assist with tornado cleanup in Washington, Illinois.
