December 13, 2021 – St. Teresa High School has been removed from the Central Illinois Conference. The move happened after a 6-1 vote earlier today. Of the eight schools, only Sulivan abstained from the vote.
“I’m disappointed,” said Principal Larry Daly. “I don’t know why they feel that we would be an unattractive option for any conference.”
St. Teresa will finish out the year in the CIC as well as play out the 2022-23 school year. The school will begin its search for a new conference almost immediately.
