January 6, 2022 – The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation has announced the beginning of its scholarship season.
There are only two requirements for applicants. They must be a Macon County Farm Bureau member (or their parent) and they must be majoring in an agriculture-related field. As for the scholarships, they’ve ranged from $250 to up to $2,000. Students are eligible to receive multiple scholarships per year. By filling out one form, they’re put into a variety of scholarship opportunities.
“The Macon County Farm Bureau Foundation prides itself on supporting the ag-leaders of tomorrow. It has provided over $150,000 in scholarships over the last twenty-six years and looks forward to supporting many more for years to come,” said Jennifer Fink of the MCFB.
Members and their children majoring in an agricultural-related field may apply for a variety of scholarships offered this year. The scholarship application is available HERE and must be postmarked by March 1.
