Walker Hayes has released more new music from his upcoming album, this time a song called “Drinking Songs.” He co-wrote the song, which finds Walker declaring his love of drinking songs while at the same time proudly six years sober.
He said, “‘Drinking Songs’ is one of my favorites off the new album. I don’t drink anymore but I still connect with how a song can get you through, just like a drink can for some people. We’ve all been in a bar full of people singing together, arms around each other. Plus, the lyrics and the beat just have a relatable quality to them that feels so country to me.”
Walker will release his new project, Country Stuff The Album, on January 21st.
He continues to climb the charts with his latest single, “AA.”
Walker will kick off his headlining tour, The Fancy Like Tour, in Grand Rapids, MI on January 27th.
