January 11, 2022 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois needs your help.
The pandemic has brought upon many challenges and has greatly affected their volunteer pool and the number of applicants that inquire. They need help getting the word out to help provide support and mentorship to children in our community.
Mentors are on the front lines helping children by giving them someone to confide in and lean on during times of hardship. With academic struggles, suicide attempts and mental health issues on the rise for children, a mentor can make the difference for youth in crisis.
January is National Mentoring Month and their agency continues to be on the forefront of mentorship for our local youth.
