January 11, 2022 – Decatur Public Schools is temporarily suspending in-person learning at William Harris Learning Academy; the SED program located at William Harris will remain in person. Students will learn virtually from home, due to the number of staff and/or students who have tested positive for COVID or are on quarantine.
Students will return to school in-person on Monday, January 24, 2022.
The Extended Day Program and extracurricular activities (including sports) at William Harris will not be offered during this adaptive pause.
As previously announced:
American Dreamer STEM Academy, Franklin Grove, and Parsons Elementary students will return to in-person learning on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Dennis Lab School students will return to in-person learning on Friday, January 21, 2022.
