DABABY TRENDS OVER NEW SONG 'SNEAKY LINK ANTHEM': DaBaby has released a new song called “Sneaky Link Anthem” and received mixed reviews about the track because he's singing using Auto-Tone. On the chorus, he croons using heavy melodic cadence, “They so sneaky/They don't know, they don't know, sneaky.” Baby raps on the verses, however. He also responded to feedback he received on his new record via his Instagram Story, and said, “And it's OK. They hate on me and it's OK.”
FREDDIE GIBBS CONTINUES BEEF WITH GUNNA: Freddie Gibbs isn't letting up on his beef with Gunna. On Monday (January 17th), the rapper made fun of Gunna's outfit and the trend that came from his “Pushin P” song. Gibbs reposted a meme, which made fun of Gunna's new song. The post said, “Only 🅿️you N***as is 🅿️olice 🅿️***y & 🅿️illow Talkers & 🅿️athetic.” Gibbs added to the memes, “🅿️eons” and “I'm pushin 🅿️🐰.” The “P” in “Pushin P” appears on Gunna's No. 1 album, DS4EVER, and stands for “player.” Gibbs also poked fun at an outfit the rapper was wearing, which was a long bubble coat with blouse-like sleeves.
NLE CHOPPA GETS INTO SCUFFLE WITH MAN AT AIRPORT: NLE Choppa got into a scuffle at the airport with a man who claimed to be a fan of YoungBoy Never Broke Again. In video footage that began circulating online, a man is seen walking up to NLE, asked him to confirm his identity and the two got into a physical altercation. The man claimed to have beaten up NLE Choppa, but footage showing additional angles of the fight showed otherwise. NLE later addressed the situation in a post-and-delete, writing on Twitter, “It's a difference from getting hit and falling then fighting in flip flops and falling on yo own. I fell throwing a punch Ian get hit til I was otw down crying laughing emojis and my backpack 20 pounds. Buddy lip swole everything I through connected.
