March 10, 2022 – This morning MRI revealed the organization’s first historical timeline, a culmination of the agency’s rich 60+ year history.
“Today, we’re celebrating our timeline we created to honor and respect the great history we have providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities,” said Amy Bliefnick, President and CEO of Macon Resources. “I am so appreciative of the people who came before us, the people who started it. Who had the courage to start this type of program, and understood that there was such a need. There is still a need in this community we continue to work to fill and I think looking back at your past is a good way to continue to move forward.”
The historical timeline is more than just a visual of the agency’s history, it’s a celebration of those who have been champions over the years in bringing about positive change for children and adults with developmental disabilities in our community.
