April 8, 2022 – The Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center announced a “Take Back the Night” event, which will commence with a march from Millikin University ending in a rally at Central Park. The march will begin at 5:30 p.m. on April 14, and the rally will start at 6:00 p.m.
April is sexual assault awareness month. Growing Strong’s mission is the equality of all persons. They provide healing services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their significant others, and educate the community in an effort to end violence and victimization.
