Former Love & Hip-Hop star Benzino is rumored to be dating trans actress/model Shauna Brooks. According to The Jasmine Brand, recorded conversations between Benzino and Shauna leaked online. In the clip, a man's voice is heard telling Brooks that it “looks bad” for him to have a relationship with a trans woman and he will be judged for it.
The man said, “You don’t f**g look bad, I do… In this world you aint doing nothing wrong.. It would be wrong if I did.. You’re not looking bad Shauna. You’re looking like a chick, ‘Hey just a chick who tried to f**k with a n***a’… Im looking wrong because what the f***k are you doing trying to f***k with a transgender.”
SHAUNA BROOKS SPEAKS OUT
After receving backlash for allegedly outing Benzino, Brooks tweeted, “My intent is NEVER to ‘out’ any1 but MY truth is always T while it‘s PAINFUL to relive PUBLICLY… I’m TIRED of men LOVING girls like us ONLY behind closed doors & treating us as if we’re disposable when it’s NO longer convenient. They want you to be their toy on their time.”
She later posted another comment on her IG Stories, saying, “Yeah I’m TIRED of putting MY neck on the line…for n**a’s that don’t even have 1, or that can even MEASURE UP too rolling eye emoji”
50 CENT TROLLS BENZINO
Although Benzino hasn't directly addressed the rumors, he seemingly confirmed his relationship with Brooks when he responded to 50 Cent, who trolled him for his alleged relationship with Shauna.
50 said, “Young Buck, Benzino just embrace who you are but don’t pat nobody butt when they score a basket fool. LOL Hahaha, Nah FOR REAL! PUNK.”
Benzino responded, “Keep pushing my buttons boy @50cent. So @50cent wanna clown me for f*cking with the trans community? Someone ask him why Power got gay as hell this season.”
BENZINO DENIES LAUGHING AT COI LERAY'S RECORD SALES
In other news, Benzino has denied that he was making fun of his daughter Coi Leray's record sales. DJ Akadamiks reported that Coi's debut album Trendsetter has sold 11,000 in its first week and Benzino reposted the news along with laughing emojis.
After receiving backlash, Benzino tweeted that his Instagram page was hacked a year ago. He said, “I lost @iambenzino a year ago on IG. I lost 1.3 million followers. They must have shut my page down then put the name back out there. I been reported that page months ago on benzinos_legendary which they just shut down days ago @benzino.Scott is what I’m using now.”
He added that he is proud of his daughter.
