May 2, 2022 – The family and friends of teacher, Amber Johnson, have established a GoFund Me Page after Johnson was involved in a car crash on Saturday.
The St. Teresa Theology teacher suffered severe injuries in the accident and is currently in the ICU at St. John’s Hospital.
According to police, the accident occurred around 10 pm Saturday on N. Water St. outside of St. Teresa High School. Johnson’s Ford Escape was hit on the driver’s side by a vehicle traveling northbound while she was turning out onto N. Water St. 700 block of North Water St. in reference to a crash. Police are still investigating.
A GoFundMe page was established with a $50,000 goal to aid Johnson through her injuries. At of Monday morning, over $37,000 had already been raised. To donate, click HERE.
